The awards ceremony took place on the 25th January 2007 and was hosted by Safety Groups UK President Lord Brougham & Vaux.
The awards, sponsored by BT, were presented by Lord McKenzie of Luton, Minister with responsibility for Health and Safety at the DWP.
The winners of each award category received a cheque for £300.
The Lucky Draw, picked from all the Award entries, took place at the ceremony and was chosen by Lord Brougham & Vaux. The winner was Suffolk & North Essex Occupational Safety Group who receive a cheque for £50.
An award for Distinguished Service was presented to the North West Association of Health and Safety Groups to acknowledge their 50th Anniversary. Bill Greville, President of the NWA, accepted the Award from Lord McKenzie of Luton.
