AIan Butler Awards 2009

Safety Groups UK announce the Winners of the Alan Butler Awards for Excellence 2009.

The awards, sponsored by BT play an important role in recognising, celebrating and communicating the work of health and safety groups.

The awards were presented at the Safety Groups UK annual London meeting and luncheon hosted by Safety Groups UK President Lord Brougham & Vaux in the House of Lords on 25th January 2010. View photographs from the day

The judging of the Awards took place on 8th December 2009 at RoSPA, Birmingham.

The Judging Panel consisted of:
Chair, Roger Bibbings, Secretary, Safety Groups UK and Occupational Safety Adviser, RoSPA, Ian Coombes, Safety Groups UK Management Committee Member with responsibility for the Awards, Bob Rajan, HSE, Hazel Harvey, IOSH, Teresa Kirkby, NEBOSH, Damodar Acharya, IIRSM and David Wallington, BT.
