Concrete
The Concrete Targets 2010 scheme is an industry-wide programme to reduce reportable accidents and to improve health and safety within the participating companies by following a co-ordinated plan of initiatives. The Concrete Targets 2010 scheme has been designed to continue the success of the original Concrete Targets scheme, which was launched in 2001 in response to the government-led initiative “Revitalising Health & Safety”. The present scheme has already delivered a 45% reduction in reported accidents.
