Norman Stevenson, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management is the IIRSM representative on the Safety Groups UK Management Committee.
Memorandum of Understanding
The MOU between Safety Groups UK and IIRSM is not a legal document but a formal expression by both parties to work together for the benefit of all.
The Objectives are:
- To work closely to promote awareness of both organisations with the ultimate aim of enhancing health and safety in the workplace.
- To give individuals who attend the Safety Groups UK branch meetings an opportunity to enhance their development and be recognised by a professional body.
- To give IIRSM members the opportunity to attend Safety Groups UK national meetings.
About IIRSM
The IIRSM is a professional body for health and safety practitioners. It was created to advance professional standards in accident prevention and occupational health throughout the world.
Membership is open to all individuals who have an interest in occupational health, safety and risk management.
