  • Our presentation looks at what chemicals can cause a chemical injury, how these burns develop and how we can mitigate the severity of the burn. We look at the traditional methods of first aid and the benefits that amphoteric washing solutions offer.  We can also look at the issues around corrosive attacks and personal first aid for staff in high risk areas. The presentation also has a practical element where we demonstrate the differences between passive and active washing of chemical splashes.
